Video call search, match sound, privacy-first AI moderation, and mobile polish

  • Background video-call search — start finding a match, switch to Lobby, Find, Pulse, or Circles, and return still searching. A floating “FINDING MATCH” indicator keeps the session visible.
  • Match found sound — a short chime plays when a video match connects so you notice even if you stepped away.
  • Privacy-first live video AI moderation — NSFW classification runs on-device (NSFWJS). Video frames are never uploaded; only moderation metadata is sent. Progressive warn → final warn → disconnect with strike cooldowns.
  • Mobile in-call UI — control bar sits above the dock, compact mic/camera/end icons, and a centered content-sized call top bar on desktop.
  • Details: /blog/july-2026-video-call-updates and /safety/ai-moderation.

Lobby redesign, join-with-code popover, and app onboarding tour

  • Neo dark glass lobby — room cards, search bar, and toolbar buttons restyled for a cleaner browse experience.
  • Join with code — glass bumper button opens an anchored popover next to the control (no full-screen dialog).
  • Create room — matching glass bumper primary button, no hover glow shadows.
  • In-room lounge UI — edge-to-edge layout, glass sidebars, composer, and member drawer aligned to the same design system.
  • App onboarding tour — first-time walkthrough for Match, Vibe, Circles, Video, Lobby, Profile, Mini Games, and Settings.
