This release hardens the live video experience: you can keep searching while browsing the app, hear when a match lands, get privacy-first on-device AI moderation, and use a cleaner mobile in-call layout. Full release notes also live on /updates.
Start finding a match on /video-call, then switch to Lobby, Find, Pulse, Circles, or other tabs — matchmaking keeps running. A floating FINDING MATCH indicator stays visible so you can jump back anytime. When a match connects, you are routed into the call.
A short glassy chime plays when a valid video match connects — so you notice even if you stepped into another tab while searching.
Live NSFW classification runs on-device in your browser (NSFWJS + TensorFlow.js). Video frames are never uploaded or stored for moderation. Only lightweight metadata (event type, scores, timestamps) may be sent so we can enforce progressive warnings and track repeat abuse signals.
Controls sit above the mobile dock with compact mic / camera / end icons. On desktop, the call top bar is centered and sized to its content instead of stretching full width.
Yes. Start finding a match on Video, then switch to Lobby, Find, Pulse, Circles, or other tabs — search continues in the background with a floating FINDING MATCH indicator. When a match connects, you are taken back to the call.
No. Live video NSFW classification runs on-device in your browser. Video frames are never uploaded. Only lightweight moderation metadata (event type, scores, timestamps) may be sent to help enforce safety.
Moderation uses progressive enforcement: a warning, then a final warning with blur on the remote video, then disconnect if violations continue — with cooldowns between strikes and a clean window that can reset the strike count.
