How to Play Chess Online With Friends (Free,… - PairUp.chat
Want to play chess online with friends without juggling Chess.com, Discord, and a separate video call? PairUp.chat puts matching, chat, and a 3D chess board in one browser tab — free, with no download.
Why social chess is different from rated chess sites
Chess.com and Lichess are excellent for rated play and puzzles. But when you want to meet someone new, chat while you play, or turn a random match into a chess friendship, you need a social layer — not just a board.
PairUp.chat is built for that. Chess is our most-played mini-game. Match with someone on Find, launch chess mid-chat, and keep talking on video or text while you think through your next move. The platform is moderated 24/7, which makes casual social chess welcoming for everyone.
